Caroline Heldman's bad argument on Hannity

My greatest pet peeve with Fox is the inability or unwillingness to challenge their guests and then give their, the host's, viewpoint and why its the correct way to think about the subject at hand.

Tonight's big debate was on the Birth Certificate.  The Liberal defending the President came up with two of the weakest arguments that I have ever heard in defense of this issue.  This leads me to believe that this person is nowhere near as smart as they think they are or they are outright lying and grasping for straws.  Either way, loss of respect almost immediately after she began speaking.

First defensive argument was that no one else has been asked to show their birth certificates.  To his credit, Hannity did challenge that and proved her incorrect but the two arguments that followed could have been challenged and settled.

Caroline's argument was that there was not such a great uproar as there is with Obama.  If she were an honest person and capable of thought process's then she would realize that the only reason that there was not the same uproar was for one simple reason... they showed their certificates.

No more questions.  But, no one has seen Obama's certificate, therefore, the controversy.  If he produced one, there would be nothing more to say about this subject.

Second argument comes from the holy grail of what to do when a Liberal is failing an argument, play the race card.  Again, very easy to prove as an imbecilic argument but Hannity only stated he was not a racist which essentially accomplished the intent of the Liberal argument, and that is to shut someone up.

The best way to counter this is to attack with facts.  The facts are that everyone has had to prove where they were born.  Why should Obama be any different?  Isn't that treating him as an equal?  By exempting him or giving privilege are we not essentially saying he is not equal?
